2020 | 4 Steps To Use The PicsArt Shapes Tool | Tutorial

Introduction

PicsArt Shapes Tool is a art of drawing tools provided by PicsArt. You get plenty of shapes such as star, flower, fish etc along with basic geometrical shapes. In this tutorial we will learn how to use the shapes tool to draw or edit in PicsArt.


Requirements

  2. Image: Pink Background


Procedure

In order to use the PicsArt Shapes Tool. Follow the instructions provided below.

Step 1 : Open PicsArt Draw along with your image.

For this particular tutorial we will be using the image above which is of a beautiful pink background. You can use any image of your choice. Or, you could also just draw on a blank white coloured background.

Step 2 : Open Shapes Tool.

Tap on the shapes tool from the right toolbar (a dialog box appears). Now you can choose any of the displayed shape.

Step 3 : Add a Shape!

Select any shape of your choice and you can also make a few basic adjustments to your shapes. Such as Size and Opacity.

With most of the shapes, apart from the regular shapes like “Arrow” and “Line”. You can also opt for either “Fill” or “Stroke” options. Their purposes are;

(1.) Fill : The fill option is used to fill the interior of the shape completely with the selected colour.

(2.) Stroke : The stroke option won't fill in the interior. The stroke option will draw a shape with a hollow interior.

Step 4 : Save your image.

With all the education done. You can now add more shapes and make a great digital drawing or you can just simply save the current project.
