Introduction

Effects or FX are post processes which you can use to add creative look to your image. PicsArt has a huge collection of Effects which can be used to enhance the look of your image. In this tutorial, we will learn exactly how to use the PicsArt Effects Tool.


Requirements

  2. Image : Football



Procedure

Follow the steps provided below in order to get started using the PicsArt Effects Tool.

Step 1 : Open PicsArt along with your image.

For this particular tutorial, we will be using the image above which is of a Football. We will be using the image to demonstrate the end results.

Step 2 : Open Effects Tool.

Tap on the “effects tool” on the right toolbar (when viewed horizontally). The whole interface changes into many available presets with a live preview of the selected effect.

Step 3 : Add an Effect!

Select any effect of your choice from the bottom preset. You an add blur, sketch or even an oil painting. For most of the available effects, you can adjust the amount, which is basically the strength of the effect and also adjust the transparency or the opacity of the effect. With few other effects, you get additional options such as to adjust the colours of the effect.

If you wish to get more creative with your art. You could also use the more tools such as Blend Modes and you can add more effects to your image.

Step 4 : Save your image.

If you are satisfied with the results. Tap on the top right check mark (√) to add the effect and tap again to save the image to your gallery.
